Their staff comprises exclusively nationals from the global South;

In their charter they have missions and objectives in line with those of SONIA;

They work for the self-determined, sustainable and holistic development of the groups they support and for social and environmental justice;

They use participatory approaches to identify priority of interventions;

They do not belong to any political parties and respect all the international charters of human rights;

They have clear and transparent procedures for managing funds.
